Birdwatching is about far more than knowing the names of birds. It teaches you to pay attention, stay curious, communicate what you see and adapt when things don't go to plan. You learn to notice the small details, ask better questions, be patient when nothing is happening and act quickly when an opportunity appears.
These are all skills we use at work too. The difference is that instead of talking about them in a meeting room, we can explore them through something completely different: going outside and watching birds.
